Fall Favs

This is one of my favorite photos of my sweet kiddos!

With Ella being so small and susceptible to so many things we weren't really allowed to go anywhere our first five to six months.  Getting out of the house together as a family was a real treat.  Especially the first couple of months the only place we ventured to was to the grandparents homes.  On this fall day, I kept an eye on the temperature and it made it into the high 60's/low 70's and my dreams of a fall pumpkin patch picture came true.  Ella was wrapped up tight and we were outside away from all people but we were out of the house with each other.  It probably was one of the fastest pumpkin patch trips ever but we loved it and the memories it brought.

Plus you can't live in "The Pumpkin Capital of the World" and not make a yearly trip to the town's pumpkin patch!  I love the next picture of her with Jeff.  You can tell just how tiny she was!

On Halloween we ventured out to each of the grandparents house.  Ella's Great Grandma Twedell finally had the chance to meet Ella face to face.  My sister Robin and her daughter Hannah finally got some long awaited snuggles in as well.  It felt good to be "normal" for a bit and to enjoy getting out of the house once again before the RSV and flu season started full swing.
